Wine Tastings, Weddings, The Chocolate Block, New Neighbors & A Weekend Break,

Hi all,
This is just a brief update following a fabulous week at Fullaloves!

Wine Tasting

Thursday 22nd was the evening of our very first and anticipated wine tasting evening, accompanied by a stunning array of Antipasti; the relatively unknown grape varieties from the South of Italy proved exceptional and we are currently putting together the orders from the evening. A huge thank you to Andy Taylor of Liberty Wines once again for hosting the event, I do believe we all learned a little something under the splendid atmosphere in the Glass house, and thank you to all the guests who came along and made the evening fantastic.
This was us "dipping our feet in the water" and I can happily say that we will certainly be doing so again in the near future so keep a look out for new dates to be announced very soon.

Our First "Stydd Country Wedding"

Congratulations to Laura and Tim who, on Friday 23rd tied the knot and entrusted Stydd Gardens, The Glass House Cafe and us; Fullaloves Wines to provide a country style wedding reception. The Bride looked stunning whilst the Groom and best men looked the part in Jeans and tweed. From our side of the bar, it looked as though everybody had a great time and we thank all involved for having the faith to have pulled off such an occasion and make it a success, all of us wish you the very best in your life together! Please follow link for more information about "Stydd Country Weddings"

The Chocolate Block

We have just taken delivery of the last of the allocation of this years vintage of The Chocolate Block, a blended red wine from South Africa. Its limited barrelage over the past few years has lead to creating quite a following with people clambering to get hold of this superb wine before it runs out for another year. We have only 10 dozen (as of the time of publishing) remaining and I expect to see these to disperse very quickly; so heads up and get in quick!
More details about the wine can be found here £19.95

New Neighbours

After weeks of anticipation, Maison De Lamond, purveyors of fine refurbished antiques, bespoke painted and distressed furniture and other vintage curiosities, opened their doors to the public last Saturday, and what a fabulous addition to Stydd Gardens, contributing to the unique and sublime feel to the whole scene.

Finishing touches are being applied to The Bee Garden, our upcoming neighbor. Maureen Little is chomping at the bit to open and offer all things Bee inspired; Honey's, Beeswax Candles, Textiles, Ceramics and more. Maureen is a budding horticulturalist and author of The Bee Garden, and will follow up this with further books whilst in residence at Stydd Gardens
